Join us for a new genre-friendly book group where you can geek out over a book that you love with other book geeks!
Have a book that you are dying to talk about with someone, but can’t find a book group that’s read it? Join us to talk about a book you’ve read and want to geek out about! All genres welcome: horror, sci-fi, fantasy, graphic novels, non-fiction...the possibilities are endless!
Tween Graphic Novel Club
Open to kids and teens in grades 4 - 8, this club shows that there's way more to comics than superheroes and encourages kids to engage with artistic and story elements of many genres of graphic novels. Check the calendar for meeting dates.
Romance Book Club
New! Come discuss all things love and romance at Romance Book Club! Selections cover a variety of romance subgenres, including scifi, fantasy, humor, dark romance, and more. Meetings are hybrid and held on Saturdays in the fall and spring and Fridays during the summer.
Mission Mama Book Club
Looking to connect with other moms on the move? Join us at Mission Mama the third Tuesday of the month for this book club! This club reads a mix of general fiction and fantasy/romantasy. Gym membership is not required to attend.
House of Leaves Book Club
23 chapters. 709 pages. Countless opportunities to get really, really confused. House of Leaves is a famously challenging read. Can you survive all 23 chapters? Join us each month to discuss a chapter...if you dare! This hybrid book club meets at the library and on Google Meets.
Horror Film Club
Do you love all things scary and spooky? Join us for our virtual Horror Film Club! This club is open to adults only, and includes selections that may be disturbing in nature and depict gore and violence. We meet on Google Meets the third or fourth Saturday of each month.
YMCA Book Club
Join us at the Kent County YMCA for book club! This club meets in person on the last Wednesday of the month, and selections cover a mix of general fiction and mystery/thriller. YMCA membership is not required to attend.
Adult Book Group
Adult Book Group is our general book club. We read a wide range of both fiction and nonfiction, and titles are selected by a rotating host which adds a lot of variety! This group meets in person on the last Tuesday of each month in the Board Room.
