Book & Film Clubs at WWPL
Adult Book Group
Adult Book Group is our general book club. We read a wide range of both fiction and nonfiction, and titles are selected by a rotating host which adds a lot of variety! It is open to adults of all ages and meets in person on the last Tuesday of each month in the Board Room.
Tween Graphic Novel Club
Open to kids and teens in grades 4 - 8, this club shows that there's way more to comics than superheroes and encourages kids to engage with artistic and story elements of many genres of graphic novels. Check the calendar for meeting dates.
Geek Reads
This book club is for all things speculative fiction: fantasy, science fiction, horror, and more! We'll read a rotating selection of these genres from adult, YA, and graphic novels. Open to adults and mature teens, this club meets in person one Saturday each month.
Horror Film Club
Do you love all things scary and spooky? Join us for our virtual Horror Film Club! This club is open to adults only, and includes selections that may be disturbing in nature and depict gore and violence. We meet on Google Meets the third or fourth Saturday of each month.
YMCA Book Club
Join us at the Kent County YMCA for book club! We meet in person on the last Wednesday of the month and usually read a mix of general fiction and mystery. YMCA membership is not required to attend.
Mission Mama Book Club
Looking to connect with other moms on the move? Join us at Mission Mama the third Tuesday of the month and read a mix of general fiction and fantasy/romantasy. Gym membership is not required to attend.
